Mia is a standout goalie. She does an excellent job of seeing the shots come in by tracking them with her quick hands and reaction time. Her good field vision of recognizing when to pick off passes near her crease to gain her team interceptions is superb. She has great movement, speed and confidence out of cage when clearing the ball. Her agility between the pipes is active and gets her body behind the shots. Mia stays composed when clearing the ball to find the best option. She also can get a quick long clear up top to help jump start her team’s offense. Mia handles pressure well when out of cage but will continue to fine tune her timing to prevent getting double teamed since there is the risk of being dispossessed of ball.
