Whitney is a brilliant midfielder. Her hustle and consistency at securing possessions on the draw is incredible. She showcases her good field vision while working in a two-man game as she draws the double team and assists to give her teammate an opportunity to score. Her 1v1 drives to cage while weaving through traffic inside the 8-meter to get a good shot off is superb. She moves well off-ball by cutting to goal with the correct hand up to receive ball and finishes with a quick shot release. Whitney has excellent anticipation of where the ball is going and makes great hustle plays to gain interceptions. Defensively she is solid in holding her 1v1 matchups and is quick in slides on team defense to adjust back and forth making it look effortless. She displays good movement when defending off-ball as she fields cutters and keeps her head on a swivel. Whitney will continue to utilize her non-dominant hand even more to continue being a dual threat and keep pushing her creativity on the offensive end.
