Elouise is a dependable goalie. She does a good job of getting a quick clear out to her top middies to jump start the offense. She also understands how to be patient on clears to her defenders by scanning both sides of the field prior to clearing the ball. Elouise does well to step towards the ball to cut off her opponents’ angle to cage. Her ability to track the ball movement around the 12-meter as well as quick passes from X to inside the 8-meter showcases her field awareness. Her technique of keeping her feet active helps her stay on her toes with quick reaction times. Elouise will keep working on giving a half-cradle with the ball in her stick after saving high shots to absorb the speed. She will also continue working on stopping the ball on low shots by getting her top hand at the head of her stick and clamping down overtop to ensure the ball does not bounce out.
