Alex is a skilled and versatile LSM who plays better defense than a lot of young LSMs. He has great stick skills in transition, throws good checks, and can even take faceoffs when needed. While those takeaway checks are effective, he relies on his stick a little too much at times. I'd like to see him be more physical at the point of attack, he's athletic and has good footwork so that would be the final added step.
