Julia is a fantastic midfielder. She demonstrates high Lax IQ by being deceptive with her shot placement on goal. Her excellent speed in clears and transitions help secure her team possession into the offensive end. Julia has strong drives to cage in her 1v1 matchups and attacks the lane to cage well and re-dodges if necessary. She has good field vision keeping her head on a swivel to recognize her open teammate and give precise assists. Defensively she does a superb job of back checking and intercepting the ball. Julia will continue to highlight more of her defensive talents in 1v1’s and team defense as well as keep utilizing her non-dominant hand even more.
