Brett is a terrific defender. She has great field awareness and understanding while marking cutters and being an option to help on slides and double teams. Her defensive stance in 1v1’s are solid as she pressures out on ball creating multiple caused turnovers. She showcases her excellent speed in transition and stays on for an offensive rep when she recognizes an open teammate to give an assist to or takes it herself for a lane to cage and finishes strong. Brett makes heads up plays and clears the ball very well being a dual threat with both hands. She will continue to keep fine tuning her stick skills and footwork to stay matched with even the shiftiest opponents.
