Amber is a skilled midfielder. Her quick reaction time on the draw circle to secure her team possession is key to her team’s success. She does an excellent job of anticipating when to slide on team defense and when to apply pressure in a double team. She is solid in her 1v1 defense and fields cutters off ball well. Amber’s hustle to 50/50 ground balls is fantastic because she pushes the fast break into her offensive end. Offensively she showcases her ability to receive a feed while pressured inside the 8-meter to get a quality shot on cage. She has good field vision seeing her open teammates cutting off-ball to assist. Amber will continue to improve upon her footwork when dodging and utilizing her non-dominant hand to be a dual threat.
