She has great speed and quickness while she swiftly dodges in the midfield evading checks while pushing the fast break in transition. Saya reads the field well and anticipates where the ball is going and where to be for interceptions and ground balls. Her skills taking the draw are unmatched with her one-handed snags and grit to secure her team possession. She has good defensive footwork while slowing a fast break and staying matched in her 1v1’s. Saya will continue to fine tune her defensive slides and keep communicating through defensive switches while fielding cutters.
