Molly is a skilled defender. She does a great job of disrupting ball carriers with her presence of being in their hands and maintaining contact while keeping them outside of the 8. Her defensive footwork in 1v1 matchups is solid. Molly’s quick first step in securing contested ground balls and running out of pressure utilizing both hands makes her a dual threat. She reads the field well to gain multiple interceptions. She showcases good hustle to get back on defense and create caused turnovers with her accurate trail checks. Her contributions at the draw of her hand-eye coordination while tracking the ball are superb. She does an excellent job running midfield too with her accuracy on cage and assisting while moving off ball to create scoring opportunities for herself and her teammates. Molly will continue to highlight more of her team defense of sliding crashing and working in double teams as well as fine tuning her stick skills.
