Lyla is a reliable defender. She has great field awareness, creating multiple caused turnovers with her knockdowns and interceptions. Lyla pressures out on ball carriers well getting in their hands with good defensive positioning and effective checks. She anticipates sliding to ball early with good communication. She does a great job of securing 50/50 ground balls and moving the ball quickly up field. Lyla will continue to keep using her non-dominant hand to be a dual threat as well as showcasing more of her solid 1v1 defensive skills.
