Carrington is a skilled two-way midfielder. Her efforts at the draw are superb with quick reaction time, good positioning and one-handed catches. She also hustles to every 50/50 ground ball to gain her team possession. Offensively she works well in two-man games and sets herself up well in her 1v1 matchups. She moves efficiently off ball with quick footwork in her cuts to receive and finish inside the 8-meter. Carrington displays terrific field vision recognizing her open teammate to give accurate feeds while on the run or under pressure. Defensively she creates multiple-caused turnovers with good checks and has excellent anticipation earning interceptions to push the fast break. She will continue to showcase more of her talents in her 1v1 matchups on the defensive end as well as keep pushing her creativity on the offensive end.
