Evan is a big, physical defenseman with a solid stick in transition. He can go coast to coast when the opportunity arises, and is opportunistic with his stick checks. He has a deadly can opener, although he does try to do too much at times and gets himself out of position. He'll need to focus more on moving his feet and staying in good body position if he wants to be considered an elite defender.
