Mid-Season #1 - Boys LI Legacy Taz (2024)

The Boys 2024 Long Island Legacy Taz is coached by Thomas Zummo, a four-time All-American, member of four Hall of Fames, and two-time NCAA National Champion. Based out of East Islip, New York, the Taz are ranked #1 overall nationally in the 2024 class with a record of 9-1-1.

This LI Legacy team has scored 88 goals this year, with only 48 goals allowed. Some of the biggest wins from this past fall include:

#9 Carolina Miners | 6-4

#10 Annapolis Hawks Green | 9-8

#11 Thunder Blue | 9-5

The events that they played at during the 2021 fall season were the Igloo LI Elite Tournament, NAL Fall, and IMCLA Players Summit.

“I am anticipating a great action-packed summer full of exposure and opportunities for the boys,” Zummo said.

The philosophy behind the Legacy program is “genius is overrated. Success is not about innate ability. It’s combined with a number of key factors such as opportunity, meaningful hard work, and your cultural legacy.”

Zummo does a great job with this team, and they are a team that all college coaches should be looking out for.

The LI Legacy will be at several events this summer, and look to challenge any opponents. Watch out for this squad at Long Island Summer Showdown, Sweetlax Summer, Naptown and North American events.
